A primrose yellow dance gown worn by Judy Garland while performing "Who" in Till the Clouds Roll By (MGM, 1946), the story of Jerome Kern. The figure hugging gown is composed of nude souffle boned leotard embellished with a paisley motif formed from bugle beads, silver tone metal teardrop shaped beads, topaz colored rhinestones set in gold tone floral casing, seed beads, small gold sequins with a yellow chiffon and souffle overdress embellished with gold micro sequins, flowing panels to the skirt and canary yellow feather plumes. A bias label reads "1369-Judy Garland." Garland was four months pregnant with Liza Minnelli during filming. Costume design by Helen Rose. Accompanied by a matching scarf that would have been draped on Garland to hide her pregnancy if needed but was used by Garland as a prop and a copy of the film. Categories: Judy Garland
