A cream satin night coif worn by Jean Simmons as a young Elizabeth I in Young Bess (MGM, 1953). The night coif is embellished with smocking details and artificial pearls. A bias label reads "Ch.22 2298 Jean Simmons." An MGM dry cleaning label is also present. Costume design by Walter Plunkett. Accompanied by a black and white studio image of Simmons wearing the piece.
