A pale yellow silk organza party dress worn by Ann Blyth as she transforms from a tomboy to a lady in Rose Marie (MGM, 1954). The fitted bodice has short puffed sleeves and a ruched neckline. The full skirt has ruching and three tiers of scalloped ruffles. The dress has an MGM cleaning label inscribed "57586" and marked "6" on verso. A primrose yellow slubbed silk unattached slip has some hand finished details, and a bias label reads "1637-3231 Ann Blyth." Costume design by Helen Rose. Accompanied by a copy of the film, a black and white studio image, and a yellow cummerbund that is not original to the costume. Categories:
