An aubergine velvet period riding habit worn by Susan Hayward in the opening sequence of Untamed (20th Century, 1955). The two-piece ensemble comprises a fitted boned bodice with decorative buttons over the hook and eye front closure, white organdy to the cuffs and collar, and a long skirt with front pleating and an asymmetrical hemline. A bias label in the skirt reads "1-20-1-0269 S.Hayward A-726-03." Costume design by Renié. Accompanied by a hat that is not original to the costume. Image available upon request. Categories:
