A Sir Cecil Beaton watercolor and ink on paper costume design sketch from 1936 for the ballet Apparitions by the London ballet company Sadler's Wells. This design is for a flower spirit character. Signed at lower right "Beaton." Matted and framed. When the ballet was performed at the Royal Opera House in London, Beaton was both the costume and set designer.
