A group of three evening jackets owned by Esther Williams. The first is a scarlet red silk jacket with gold metallic floral embroidery work and bead embellishment. Williams wore an identical jacket to the opening of the Joffrey Ballet on July 21, 1993, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. The second is a black, red, and burnt orange silk oriental jacket with floral and fauna embroidery work. Williams wore an identical jacket to the premiere of Nobody's Fool on November 5, 1986, at Loews Tower East Theater in New York City. Accompanied by an image of Williams wearing an identical jacket. The third is black slubbed silk with couching, embroidery and bead and sequin work. Williams was seen in an identical jacket in 1990. All pieces are labeled "Esther Williams." Williams had Esther Williams labels sewn into many of her personal garments. Links to images of Williams in all three jackets available upon request.
