A three-piece fawn silk male dancer costume from Can - Can (20th Century, 1960). The ensemble comprises a frock coat with painted glass buttons, a waistcoat with applied velvet and silk stripes and painted glass buttons, and a pair of breeches with silk and velvet applied stripes. Labels have been removed. There are Fox dry clean tags on the pants and coat. Costume design by Irene Sharaff. Accompanied by two black and white studio images with the same or similar costume in the background and three glass button heads. Categories:
