A ring of sapphire in platinum setting worn by Rudolph Valentino in The Eagle (United Artists, 1925), A Sainted Devil (Paramount, 1924) and Cobra (Paramount Pictures, 1925). The face of the sapphire has an intaglio image of a battle scene. The ring was purchased at auction in 1967 by Margaret Strong who housed the ring in the Margaret Woodbury Strong Museum in New York. Accompanied by pieces of film showing Valentino wearing the ring and a small archive of article with information regarding the history of the ring. Size 10 Categories:
