A pair of pewter colored 1789 eyeglasses with round clear lenses and molded nose pads, worn by Bob Hoskins in his role as Smee in Hook (Amblin Entertainment, 1991). This is one of several pairs of glasses made for the film. The ends of the earpieces have small circular rings (one is broken off). The earpieces are inscribed “andr’eka 1l” and “paris muse’es’ 1789-1989.” Accompanied by a copy of the film. PROVENANCE From the Collection of Simon Murray, spectacle maker Categories:
