A satin gown woven with gold metallic threads worn by Julie Andrews to the 45th Academy Awards in 1973. The long-sleeve gown has a fitted bodice and A-line skirt with an asymmetrical hemline. The gown is embellished with silver and gold rhinestones set in metal prongs, sequins, bugle beads, and seed beads in a foliage pattern with an organza ruffle to the neck that flows down the center back of the gown. Andrews along with George Stevens presented the Best Director Award to Bob Fosse for Cabaret at this ceremony. A Western Costume Company label is inscribed "Julie Andrews."
