A scarlet red custom dance costume worn by Cyd Charisse in Sentimental Journeys (PBS, 1984). The costume comprises a long-sleeve leotard with mock turtleneck embellished with rows of red sequins and bugle beads, a chiffon wrap skirt with bead and sequin work, and a beaded fringed skirt. No labels present. Charisse wears the leotard and both skirts while performing her famous MGM dance routines from Silk Stockings (MGM, 1957) and Singin' in the Rain (MGM, 1952).
