A tan pigskin leather dressing case by Bramah & Co. , serial number 1032, with "R.V.G" embossed on the lid. The red Morocco leather interior has numerous compartments to fit matching red leather cases and other personal belongings, including three white brushes with "RVG" monogrammed on the back, eight glass jars with metal caps that are engraved "RVG," a small jar of cologne in its own casing, a rectangular mirror, a set of seven razors in a casing that indicates each day of the week, a manicure set, a brown belt, a round leather box with removable lid that contains keys, a black comb, a stationery folder with "RVG" note paper and envelopes with two writing instruments, and a red leather pouch. Most of the personal belongings are housed in their respective custom-made red leather casings. Accompanied by a cutout article from Woman's Friend dated May 28, 1927, that lists the dressing case as a prize for the magazine contest that involved describing Rudolph Valentino's emotion in a photograph; an insurance policy from Lloyd's, London, that began on October 20, 1927, stating that the dressing case, formerly in the possession of the late Rudolph Valentino, was insured for £200; and four letters from Mrs G.
