A chocolate wool walking dress made for Betty Grable in The Shocking Miss Pilgrim (20th Century, 1947). The dress has knitted inserts with stripes of turquoise and brown to the front bodice and sleeves. There is a back bustle and bow and hand finishing work to the interior. A bias label is stamped "1 69 60747" and inscribed "4871 B.Grable." This costume was not seen in the final cut of the film. Costume design by Orry-Kelly. Categories:
