A group of correspondence from Harry Houdini, including a Houdini typed, signed letter written to Oscar Teale informing him that he has been named secretary to The Society of American Magicians, dated July 2, 1916, additionally initialed “HH”; a typed, signed letter written on Houdini stationery, presumably also written to Oscar Teale and dated May 10, 1926, addressed to “My dear Teale” and signed by Houdini in pencil; and a typed, signed Lettergram on a preprinted Houdini Lettergram form. At the top of the page are two images of Houdini and his address with an introductory paragraph explaining the lack of formalities in a Lettergram. Written to Nelson Downs, dated April 4, 1923, and signed in pencil “Regards, [typed] to you all Houdini.” Most likely written to longtime friend and fellow magician Thomas/T.
