A mahogany pedestal desk with gadrooned edges, heavy brass pulls, and a burgundy leather top with gilt-stamped edges. Previously owned by renowned film producer Alan Ladd Jr. and used during his tenure as president of MGM/UA Entertainment Co., during which time the company produced such notable classic films as Moonstruck (1987), Thelma & Louise (1991), and Rain Man (1988).
