A pair of silver lamé shoes with a Louis heel attributed as being worn by Billie Burke in her role as Glinda, the Good Witch, in The Wizard of Oz (MGM, 1939). The shoes are lined in kid leather, each has a mother of pearl button and is stamped in gold "The Bootery... Los Angeles-San Francisco" with numerals inscribed to the interior of the left shoe. Costume design by Adrian. The shoes were pulled by Kent Warner prior to the 1970 MGM sale with The Wizard of Oz related costumes and later gifted to Glenn Brown. Accompanied by a copy of the film.
