A chocolate homespun style woven pioneer dress worn by Loretta Young in Rachel and the Stranger (RKO, 1948). The dress has a tailored bodice with wooden buttons and hand finishing details to interior with a gathered skirt. A bias label reads "Cp7-531-L.Young Period 1780." Costume design by Edith Head.
