A black pleated silk period gown made for Greer Garson in The Law and the Lady (MGM, 1951). The sleeveless gown has a ruffled collar with ivory lace trim and a trained skirt with a bias label that reads "1531 8065 Greer Garson." Costume design by Walter Plunkett. Accompanied by a studio image of Garson in a similar style gown. Previously exhibited at The Sharon Landa Gallery in Hollywood, California, 1971.
