A pale green bias cut reversed silk charmeuse Travis Banton gown worn by Carole Lombard for a 1931 Otto Dyar publicity image. The figure-hugging trained gown is embellished with silver bullion embroidery work, artificial pearls, small sequins and beadwork in a floral and foliate pattern. A bias label is inscribed "AD4," and a Paramount label is present. The gown is believed to have been created for Lombard for No Man of Her Own (Paramount, 1932). It was previously attributed as a Florence Vidor gown. Accompanied by the original Christie's lot tag.
