A group of 12 hat boxes that were housed in Greta Garbo's closet: seven Mr. John hat boxes in varying sizes, four Lilly Daché hat boxes in varying sizes, and one Peck & Peck hat box. Some have Greta Garbo's handwritten notations of former content written on sides. All are of cardboard. Appears in the book Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style edited by Stefania Ricci (Milan: Skira, 2010) and previously exhibited: Museo Salvatore Ferragamo, Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style , February through September 2010.
