A Wilson Cincinnati Reds hat game worn by Denis Menke. The fitted red wool hat centers a white embroidered Cincinnati Reds logo. Menke's number "16" is written on the underside of the brim in black marker, and the interior sweatband features a Wilson manufacturing tag with hat size "6 7/8" stamped into the sweatband and additionally written into the interior front crown in black ink. Due to the facts that Whalen Monica attended only the All-Star game and the World Series, that Menke wore only uniform #16 for the Reds during the 1972 season (Menke switched to #11 for the 1973 season), and that Menke was not named to the 1972 All-Star team, it is believed that Menke wore this hat during the 1972 World Series.
