A pair of cleats worn by Davey Johnson during the 1969 World Series. Johnson was the starting second baseman for the Baltimore Orioles when they won two World Series championships between 1965 and 1972. The Adidas black leather cleats feature the Adidas three-stripe logo detail compete with black laces and steal spikes on the bottom of each shoe. The tongue of the shoe features a sewn-in tag that reads "Adidas/ Made in West Germany/ Die Marke Mit Den/ 3 Riemen/ Adidas/ The Brand with three stripes/ The original/ 3 stripe sport shoes is/ the most successful/ sport shoe in the world."
