A heavily embellished gold gown worn by a guest at the Embassy ball in My Fair Lady (Warner Bros. , 1964). The elaborate neo-Edwardian column gown has a pleated tulle over gold lamé boned bodice that is embellished with strands of gold metal beads and seed beads with decorative beaded and embroidered discs. The skirt is a layer of tulle elaborately embellished with gold bullion embroidered roses, foliage, and bands with gold lamé ribbon work, and it has heavy beadwork of bugle, seed, and gold metal beads over a fitted gold lamé underskirt with a train.
