A pair of Air Jordan XIII (13) basketball shoes, game worn by Michael Jordan in 1998. The shoes were released in January 1998, with this model being worn by Jordan during the final months of his NBA career with the Chicago Bulls. While wearing the Air Jordan 13 model, Jordan broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA record by scoring double-digit points for the 788th consecutive game. Jordan also led the Bulls to the franchise’s sixth NBA Championship, taking home his sixth NBA Championship ring along with his sixth NBA Finals MVP award. The white leather shoe features red accents, with black accents near the soles of the shoes. Inspired by Jordan's "cat-like" reflexes, the designer of the shoes, Tinker Hatfield, modeled the sole of the shoe after a panther’s paw print and included holograms on the bottom and by the ankle to represent a cat’s glowing eyes. It has been rumored that Jordan typically removed the insoles of his shoes before giving them away. The insoles of these shoes are included. ESTIMATE $2000-3000 Categories:
