A 2002 Hofner left-handed 500/1 “Cavern” style violin base. The bass is a Hofner re-issue inspired by Paul McCartney’s first violin bass obtained in Hamburg, Germany, in 1961. Accompanied by a Hofner Certificate tag that gives the serial number as C01102L.
