A Trent Reznor stage used guitar, played by Reznor in performances as the founder of Nine Inch Nails. While it does not have any distinguishing marks or damage that can be “screen-matched” to concert footage, a guitar of this type can be seen in the live home video DVD release Beside You in Time (see “Head Like A Hole” and “Terrible Lie”) and documents NIN’s 2006 tour Live: With Teeth. As such, it is believed that this Dean EVO Noir guitar was used circa 2005/2006 and at some point destroyed on stage. It is missing three tuning pages but still has the used guitar strings from its last use on stage. Accompanied by a gig bag. Nine Inch Nails broke up/went on hiatus in 2009 and sold hundreds of their instruments on eBay, believing that they were finished touring (see http://www.theguardian.com/music/2009/nov/30/nine-inch-nails-sell-instruments). Last year, Nine Inch Nails returned and began touring again and also released new music. Reznor and Nine Inch Nails have won multiple GRAMMY Awards and have sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Reznor made Time magazine's list of the year's most influential people in 1997, Spin magazine described him as "the most vital artist in music," and Nine Inch Nails also made Rolling Stone magazine's “100 Greatest Artists of All Time” list. 39 1/2 by 13 1/4 inches PROVENANCE From the Collection of Jason DeBord, Original Prop Blog & Rock Subculture Journal Categories: Nine Inch Nails
