A seat back from the original Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York. The blue plastic seat back is numbered "7." Notable Yankee players to wear uniform number 7 include Ben Chapman, Oscar Grimes, Tommy Henrich, and Tony Lazzeri. However, the most notable player to have worn uniform number 7 for the Yankees is Mickey Mantle, whose uniform number was retired by the Yankees in 1969. Mantle is a seven-time World Series champion with the Yankees and 20-time All-Star. Affixed to the seat front is a plaque that reads "Yankee Stadium/ April 18, 1923 - September 21, 2008." The seat back was used in, and removed from, the original Yankee Stadium in 2008. The seat back was manufactured by American Seating of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Affixed to the seat back is a Major League Baseball numbered hologram.
