A pair of Delman shoes custom made for Marlene Dietrich for stage performances circa 1950s. The high-heeled shoes are covered with glitter and are embellished with bands of rhinestones set in metal casing, with satin bows to the ankles. The leather soles have an engraved crosshatched pattern. The shoes read "Custom Made Especially for Miss M. Dietrich" and "Custom Made Especially for Marlene Dietrich." A similar pair of shoes were featured at the 20th Annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibit at FIDM Museum in Los Angeles in 2011. Additional online images available upon request.
