A black and white vintage original photograph of Theda Bara in period costume for her role as Madame Du Barry in the 1917 Fox film of the same name. Marked "Witzel L.A." at lower right. The film’s costume designer was George Hopkins, and the photograph is accompanied by a 1948 Academy Awards program that lists Hopkins’ nomination for Best Art Direction-Set Decoration for his work on the film Life With Father (Warner Bros, 1947).
