" Ali was a resident of the Hyde Park area of Chicago in 1976, when the nation was celebrating its Bicentennial, and this license plate was issued to a car he owned at the time. Ali lived around the corner from Elijah Muhammad, then leader of The Nation of Islam. The license plate is signed "Muhammad Ali" in blue marker.
