A framed shadowbox display featuring a group of items pertaining to the participation of Muhammad Ali (then named Cassius Clay) in the 1958-60 National Amateur Golden Gloves tournaments and the 1960 Rome Summer Olympic Games. The group of items includes officials pins from both the 1959 and 1960 Golden Gloves finals, both of which Ali won in the Light Heavyweight class. The group also includes an original ticket from the 1958 Golden Gloves finals that Ali lost to Tony Madigan; an original ticket to the 1959 Golden Gloves finals, where Ali avenged his 1958 loss by defeating Madigan in the finals; and an original ticket to the 1960 U.S. Olympic Amateur Boxing finals, where Ali would qualify for the 1960 U.S. Olympic team. These items are framed together with a vintage boxing glove signed "Muhammad Ali" in gold marker and a print of a black and white image of Ali fighting during the 1960 Summer Olympic Games in Rome, Italy.
