A Rick Griffin artwork commemorating the passing of Quicksilver Messenger Service guitarist John Cipollina, who died in 1989. Griffin was a friend of the band and produced the cover art for their first album in 1968. The artwork is airbrush stencil on paper with an image of Cipollina playing the guitar, the winged eyeball frequently seen in Griffin's artwork, and an image of a steer skull. Accompanied by a Griffin painting of a steer skull against a barn wood background inspired by his trips to desert areas of the Southwest, mixed media on cardboard.
