The skull concept image for the Grateful Dead's What a Long Strange Trip It's Been album cover, framed. The final image chosen for the cover is a black and white skull expressing the same upward-looking form. The two pencil on paper bone study sketches appear to be femur bones that are found in Griffin's other Grateful Dead imagery.
