Two Rick Griffin preliminary sketches for a Grateful Dead 20th Anniversary celebration flyer distributed at a 1985 concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California. The first is a mixed media on paper rough sketch of a man holding a guitar in front of an American flag. The second image more closely resembles the final artwork with a minuteman inspired figure with the lettering "Grateful Dead/ Twenty Years So Far." Pencil on tracing paper.
