A group of Rick Griffin poster art. The first is ink on tracing paper concept artwork for Griffin's retrospective exhibition held at Psychedelic Solutions Gallery in New York, 1986. The poster reads "The Ninth Wave" with the Empire State Building in the background and an overturned ink pot. The second is a similar image, pencil on tracing paper, that reads "The Nith [sic] Wave/ Graphic Tsunami." With a framed artist's proof of Griffin's "Art and Death" poster, 1989. This was one of Griffin's last produced artworks. The image is of an artist with ink and pen with a skeleton playing the violin behind. Preprinted facsimile signature at lower right.
