Printing plates and poster proofs for Family Dog posters FD-127 and FD-128. FD-127, also called "Forest" and on the right side of the plates and proofs, was designed by Paul Kagan. It advertises 1968 concerts at the Avalon Ballroom by the Steve Miller Band, Howlin' Wolf, and Conqueroo. FD-28, on the left side of the plates and proofs, was also designed by Kagan and is referred to as "In a Woodpile." The poster advertises 1968 concerts at the Avalon Ballroom by Tim Buckley, The Velvet Underground, and Allmen Joy. Both images incorporate photographs of nude couples kissing with images of wooded areas. Present are three progressive printing plates with three uncut progressive printing proofs.
