A Rawlings Official Major League Baseball (Selig) signed and inscribed by Major League Baseball career hits leader Pete Rose. The ball has been signed by Rose on the sweet spot, with Rose then adding another 15 inscriptions to the baseball in his own handwriting, listing many statistics and accomplishments from his career. Inscriptions inlude "3,562 Games/ 14,053 at Bats/ 2,165 Runs/ 1,314 RBIs/ 5,752 Total Bases/ 1,972 Winning Games/ 746 Doubles/ 3,315 Singles/ .303 Career Avg./ 1963 NL ROY/ 1973 NL MVP/ 1975 World Series MVP/ 17 All Star Games/ 44 Game Hit Streak 1978/ 4,256 Hits." Signature and inscriptions all in blue ink. Affixed to the baseball is a sticker from ReggieJackson.com numbering the ball "211/1000." While there are 1,000 balls listed in the edition number, it has been speculated that far less than 1,000 baseballs were ever signed and inscribed.
