A Rawlings Official Major League Baseball (Selig) signed and inscribed by Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee Tony Perez. The ball has been signed by Perez on the sweet spot along with the inscription "HOF 2000." Kaline has then added another 13 inscriptions to the baseball in his own handwriting, listing many statistics and accomplishments from his career. Inscriptions inlude "7 All Star Games/ 1967 AlL Star Game MVP/ 2,777 Games/ .279 Career Avg./ 9,778 at Bats/ 2,732 Hits/ 505 Doubles/ 79 Triples/ 379 Home Runs/ 1,272 Runs/ 1,652 RBI/ 13 NLCS RBI/ 5 WS Appearances." Signature and inscriptions all in blue ink. Affixed to the baseball is a sticker from ReggieJackson.com numbering the ball "211/1000." While there are 1,000 balls listed in the edition number, it has been speculated that far less than 1,000 baseballs were ever signed and inscribed.
