The ball has been signed by Montana on the sweet spot along with the inscription "HOF 2000." Montana has then added another 15 inscriptions to the baseball in his own handwriting, listing many statistics and accomplishments from his career. Inscriptions inlude "Super Joe/ 5,772 Postseason Passing Yards/ 45 Postseason Touchdown Passes/ 8 Pro Bowl's/ 1990 SI Sportsman of the Year/ 1989 NFL MVP/ 1990 NFL MVP/ 1977 National Champion/ 4 Time Super Bowl Champion/ 3 Time Super Bowl MVP/ 75th Anniversary All Time Team/ 92.3 Career QB Rating/ 40,551 Passing Yards/ 3,409 Completions/ 273 Touchdown Passes." Signature and inscriptions all in blue ink. Affixed to the baseball is a sticker from ReggieJackson.com numbering the ball "211/1000." While there are 1,000 balls listed in the edition number, it has been speculated that far less than 1,000 baseballs were ever signed and inscribed.
