Italian School, last half 18th century. School of Marco Ricci (Italian, 1676-1730), "Seaside Landscape With Classical Arch", oil on canvas, apparently unsigned, verso with applied label "Scuola di Marco Ricci Venezia", verso with additional indistinct graphite inscriptions. Horizontally oriented landscape painting depicting seaside capriccio scene, likely in Northern Italy, with overgrown classical archway, with cattle herder and dog leading a bull through a clearing in the brush, with fishermen casting fishing lines at the bank of the water, the calm water with several sailboats, with apparently Italianate architectural structures on the far bank of the waterway, with cumulous clouds in bright blue sky overhead. Framed apprxaimtely 32.6" x 42.6". Unframed approximately 27.5" x 37".
