A red velour terrycloth LEVI'S track jacket worn by Evander Holyfield during the 1983 National Sports Festival which took place in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Stitched into the upper left of the jacket is a National Sports Festival logo patch as well as a Levi's logo patch. Stitched into the back of the jacket in white tackle twill are the letters "USA." The National Sports Festival was run by the US Olympic Committee on Olympic off years. The Festival ran from 1978-1995, with the name being changed to "The US Olympic Festival" in 1985. Holyfield competed in the 1983 Festival and won a gold medal in boxing. Accompanied by a mounted color image, owned by Evander Holyfield, of Holyfield wearing the jacket at the games' ceremonies.
