A blue acetate satin EVERLAST boxing robe with cotton terry cloth lining worn by Evander Holyfield for his Heavyweight fight against Michael Dokes on March 11, 1989 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The robe features white lapels, cuffs and pocket stripes with a blue zippered hood. In addition there is an EVERLAST logo stitched into the upper left side of the robe. Stitched into the back of the robe in white embroidered lettering is "Evander/ "Real Deal"/ Holyfield." Holyfield won the bout against Dokes by technical knockout at 1:41of the 10th round of a scheduled 12 round fight. After repeated low blows by Dokes during the fight, a point was eventually deducted from him in the sixth round for the infractions. Dokes went down in the 10th round when the referee was intervening and stopping the fight. There is no belt present with the robe. Size 44.
