A color image of Brooklyn Dodgers left fielder Lefty O'Doul. The image has been signed and inscribed by O'Doul in black ink. The signature was obtained in person from O'Doul by Clarence Y. Uyechi in December 1932 at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel at Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. Uyechi worked as a bellhop at the hotel in 1932 and also as a water boy for visiting Major League Baseball teams and players during exhibition games that were held in Hawaii in the 1930s, including the New York Yankees in particular. O'Doul has signed the image "To Clarence/ Best Wishes/ From/ 'Lefty' O'Doul/ Dec. 16, 1932." Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from JSA. 12 by 10 inches, overall ESTIMATE $300-500 Categories:
