A red GRANT velour boxing robe worn by Evander Holyfield for his fight against Vinny Maddalone on March 17, 2007 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The robe was worn by Holyfield in his locker room in advance of the fight and for his entrance into the ring. The robe features a purple acetate satin interior lining, with one purple lapel, one white lapel and a Grant Boxing logo patch stitched into the front upper left of the robe. Stitched into the back of the robe in white tackle twill lettering with purple borders is "THE/ "REAL DEAL"/ PSALMS/ 23. " Additionally stitched into the upper back of the robe is a Grant Boxing logo patch. The robe is accompanied by a red velour belt. Holyfield would defeat Maddalone by technical knockout at 2:48 in the third of the scheduled 10 round fight. Maddalone's corner stopped the fight after a series of power shots from Holyfield near the end of the thrid round. The victory would be the 41st of Holyfield's professional career. Size extra large.
