A floral printed crepon dress worn by Madonna in the November 1996 issue of Vanity Fair while promoting her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). The images for the magazine spread, titled "The Madonna Diaries," were shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino. The slim-fitting dress has scattered blossoms in shades of vermilion with a set-in waistband and floating fabric to the right hip. A Palace Costumes label is present. Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a copy of the magazine and a certificate of authenticity signed by Melody Barnett of Palace Costume Company.
