A chocolate wool skirt suit circa 1940s worn by Madonna in her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). The suit comprises a tailored jacket with beadwork and buttons embellished with amber rhinestones and a slender-fitting skirt. The jacket has a Tailored by Chappi label and a Palace Costumes label. The skirt has a Palace Costume label. Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a copy of the film and a certificate of authenticity signed by Melody Barnett of Palace Costume Company. Categories: Madonna
