A cream wool crepe dress with bead embellishment circa 1940s worn by Madonna in her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). The short-sleeve dress has a keyhole neckline and is embellished with solid beading to the cuffs and collar, vermicelli beading to the bodice, and opalescent sequin flowers. Madonna and Palace Costumes labels are present. Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a copy of the film and a certificate of authenticity signed by Melody Barnett of Palace Costume Company. Categories: Madonna
