$2,560
A commemorative Elvis Presley Gibson J-200 acoustic guitar. Designed to honor Presley's own revamped guitar. In 1960, when Presley returned from the Army, he asked Scotty Moore to take his 1956 Gibson J-200 and get it refurbished. The guitar had been used in Presley's early career in concert and on The Ed Sullivan Show at times in a leather case. Moore sent the guitar to Gibson, and what returned was a refinished model with "Elvis Presley" inlaid on the fretboard and a mod style pickguard. Presley used the refinished guitar in his film Wild in the Country (20th Century, 1961) and on stage in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Accompanied by two black and white images of Presley playing his guitar on stage. Categories: Elvis Presley
