A red sequined cape used by James Brown in performances in the 1960s and 1970s. A round satin patch sewn to the back of the cape is embroidered with the words "James Brown/ Godfather/ of Soul. The cape was draped over Brown's coffin during his funeral. Obtained from the collection of Danny Ray, Brown's "Cape Man" and emcee. Categories: James Brown
