A promotional photograph from Madam Rose's Debutantes showing the cast in colored dresses and holding dolls, believed to have been hand colored by Gypsy Rose Lee. The photograph is stamped "Bloom Chicago," circa late 1920s to early 1930s. Madam Rose's Debutantes opened in Saugerties, New York, on June 24, 1929, and Lee states in her memoirs that she sewed all the costumes for the act.
